I picked Mexican - it was a slow growing love affair - first introduced to it at age 30.
And Italian comes in 2nd place. BTW - Paula, I have made the rice stuffed tomatoes for 3 dinners since you posted the recipe. Hubby and I both like it very much!

This is a hard choice, but of course I had to go with Italian. I'm glad you like the Tomatoes Stuffed With Rice Susan. Try mixing some smoked Gouda cheese into the rice. I think that would give it a nice variation.

Several chefs and food industry experts were interviewed about food trends. One prediction is that carbs are going to make a BIG comeback.

I wonder what the #1 Ethnic Food in Canada is?
I would guess Italian as well...lol
My background is Greek, but I have to admit even though I love greek food and it is a toss up, my first choice would be italian...I love pasta!
There really isn't very many Mexican restaurants like there used to be in Ontario...I was actually looking for one and there wasn't much...

I'd have to go with Chinese or Mexican, myself. My boyfriend has got me hooked on chicken. I love the sweet and sour chicken, or the honey mustard chicken (Chinese), it is sooo good. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In world wide surveys Italian Food is always ranked #1. I think pizza and pasta play big roles in that choice.
The flexibility of Italian food is also a big plus for people.
I too love Greek food. My youngest son is going to Greece in March and I was giving him a list of foods to try.

I picked chinese. We grew up in the south plains area of texas and there are as many different mexican food restraunts as hamburger joints. Growing up we had mexican food at home a lot and my hubby loves my chicken enchiladas.

hi Paula,
I'm not surprised as pizza and pasta are my favourites...:) I don't eat that all the time, but they are my 1st choice!
I thought I would mention since your son is going to Greece...you may want to tell him to be careful with gyros...if he is getting it from a place that isn't that busy he could end up getting sick from it as this happened to my brother...maybe keep it in mind..

Good advice, thanks. It's been about 25 years since I've been to Greece. I'm so jealousy that he's going.
