I have been so busy that I haven't had time to crochet at all but things are getting ready to slow down here so I should be able to get back to creating very soon. You can cheer me up a little or rub it in my face (hehehehehehe) and tell me what you have been working on.

Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I am currently working on baby items, hats, mittens, booties, bibs, afghans and more. My sister is having her first baby and its going to be a boy she recently found out. So I have been busying myself with projects to welcome my newest nephew.

Also, I have been thinking of trying to teach myself to knit, but will leave that on my lower priority list until after she gives birth...

Well Eva this post should be one of those that make you feel like you have company . I'm in the same boat as you. Too busy and have done nada! I'm hoping to slow down here shortly so I can come up for airand finish some of the things I started.

I am working on an afghan for my very best friend. It's only the second one I've done from a pattern out of a book, and it is really turning out cute! The pattern is called "Remember the Kittens", and the way the rows of stitches are done it looks like rows and rows and rows of kitties!

I made a square of this pattern to go with my many stitch and pattern pile to be sewn together some day.

Click on the 1st site picture to see a very large close up of the pattern.
It is sooo cute !

I finished a Piglet afghan yesterday, and I have a request to make an Eeyore afghan, so I've got a couple of rows done on that. I'm also about halfway through one of the hobo bags from the Lion Brand web site.

I'm working on a really pretty shawl, too. I have to take my time with this one; the stitches are easy, but I have to be careful with the shaping.
