I am hopelessly devoted (on so many levels LOL) to Gimme! Coffee (www.gimmecoffee.com). I've converted dozens of people, even my super-coffee-snob S.O., who used to be a Peet's junkie.

Starbucks just doesn't cut it for me, I'm afraid. It'll do in a pinch, but off the store shelf, it's generally not fresh enough (you can tell because the beans look dry instead of greasy).

Gimme! Coffee sounds good...I will have to give it a try. I absolutely love Sweet Maria's Coffee. They roast their own beans on Monday and ship on Tuesday http://www.sweetmarias.com/prod.roasted.html They make a perfect cup of coffee.

I agree about Starbucks. I never buy the Starbucks beans in the store but I will buy at an actual Starbucks (in a pinch). Our local Costco roasts their own beans and they are what I use when I do not have Sweet Maria's.

I don't drink coffee that's not fairly traded, I forgot to mention. The fair-trade stuff is more ethical, and usually tastes better anyway

I am a Community Coffee (chickory) fanatic. I believe I developed my taste in coffee from my Dad (unfortunately?). He is a riverboat captain and their motto is, "the stronger the better". He used to say if you can pour it and have to cut the pour off with scissors, you have made a great pot of coffee? Sorry....LOL I do enjoy very strong coffees though.

I was a barista with JavaU and I do enjoy their Green Mountain Espresso blend.

I was turned on to Community Coffee after Katrina and Rita hit and it was nearly impossible to get a decent ground coffee in the grocery store. The chicory is great!

I like the Gevalia coffees with dessert. They have a wonderful Raspberry white chocolate that's great with anything sweet.

Don't throw grounds at me!! (ducking) Folgers, but it is made in my 1960's Farber SuperFast Percolator. I do enjoy Milstones flavored coffees now and then, but my mother and grandmother always used folgers, so,like mother like daughter!

Without a doubt...I hate to be bland but Nescafe rules the world for me. I love Starbucks and all the gourmet blends but Nescafe has the kick I'm looking for but goes down so smooth as well. Gee I need a cup now!
