>Just My thoughts on this item< I know this is a Crochet forum !
I am not advertising ,
just letting you all know about this cute NEW gadget !

No Needles to buy. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Singer is taking the struggle out of the hand Looming.
This will take the place of the Knifty Knitter and the Loom items.
And the price is awesome. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Fun Fur , look out - your gonna get a work out !

Many have struggled <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> with the Loom Knitting but this machine looks like it will be able to use the Fun Fur.
I think this machine will take the struggle out of trying to see the stitches .
I gotta see this in the working stage.
Going to the Craft store tomorrow.

I got the one at Walmart, $19.95 We pulled it out for the 2 teenage girls across the street and OMG it was a good time. I laughed so hard, they both would sit there and say "I want to do the cranky thing, no you had your TURN allready, I am going to do the cranky thing and you just have to wait" and on and on. At one point I had to threaten to take the "cranky thing" away if we couldn't talk nice to each other, hehehehehehehehe

I purchased one of those a while back but unfortunately it did not last long. The crank broke.

Oh it is a fun little machine, I don't have that one but I do have the Barbie and the Sew Easy ones. I also have the knifty knitter hand knitting looms, and ones from CinDWood Crafts and Decoracentsinc.com and ITA (in the attic), and bunches more. Nope that little machine will not take the place of the knitting looms, because there is a limited amount of small tube things you can do on this cranking loom, but on the kk's you can do much much more. I am on several groups for knitting looms and those groups are growing daily by leaps as more and more people pick up the knifty knitters and provo the company who makes the kk's is about to come out with some larger of their board looms. Longer and able to make larger pieces, with end pegs to use them better as round looms also.

I just finished a board knitted baby ghan, have ghans on two S curved looms (48" and 60" boards), am making panels on two purple knifty knitters boards, have two scarves going on other boards, and some things on round looms.

This is very addicting. I am now checking out getting a board with nails as hardware since all of mine are with plastic, nylon, or wood pegs.

My crank knitters are sort of sitting there, no time to use them, but you know they do make a quick, fast easy fun fur little tube scarf. Not a bit diameter but it is so cute.
