Hi everyone!

I am Samantha, your new BellaOnline Cruise editor. I'm looking forward to getting to know the readers of this section of BellaOnline.

Since it is the beginning of the 2006, and many people are thinking of all of the wonderful things they would like to achieve or change in the coming year, I'd like everyone to post what their dream cruise for 2006 would be, and why it is a dream of yours.

Think big! Dreams can come true <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I thought it would have been 7 day western carribean on Carnival miracle until I met Dennis. hurricane Dennis that is! What a nighmare of a cruise that was! There were a lot of great times but the way the cruise line took care of the hurricane issue was unbelievable! I plan to stay on land the next vacation I take.

That would be a nightmare - even a light storm at sea can rock the boat a bit and make everyone uncomfortable. I love crusing and we have been fortunate. You should try it again.

We're going to Scandinavia this year and will pick up the ship in Copenhagen.

7 or 14 days on a completely smoke-free ship. We took a cruise with Carnival 3 years ago on their first smoke-free ship and it was absolutely wonderful! I could spend time at the shows, bars, casinos, nightclubs without hacking my lungs out later!

And they have to have organized activities for children.

Is there such a thing as a wellness cruise? I'd love to take yoga classes, meditate and go to a spa? Maybe every cruise offers this? My husband was in the Navy and he says he will never go on a cruise with me. I think it would be wonderful to sit around all day and eat great food and not have to do anything you didn't want to.

I agree, every cruise is a dream cruise.

My sister and her husband went to Alaska and loved it.

Joanj, you can have it all - on Princess there is the Lotus Spa - from hot rock massages, kiwi masks, beauty makovers, facials, gym, personal trainers, hot tubs, Pilates, Yoga, you name it, they have it for you. I always take the tour so that I can see what new things they are offering.

I generally treat myself to a manicure which is wonderful. Unfotunately, we tour a lot on the cruises and the specials are offered in port. Those who just want to enjoy the wellness and beauty offerings can take it all in.

I recently researched the subject of wellness cruises and was delighted to discover many dedicated to yoga, meditation, etc. Some have world-famous teachers and authors, vegetarian or natural food cooking classes and lots more.

This is my dream to do yoga while sailing the high seas!

I have also been on a Carnival cruise during a hurricane - lucky I don't get seasick. We ended up in Bahamas instead of Cozumel, but it was still a great location.

My dream cruise is a European river cruise - to see all the country side and stop off to visit the villages. I hear this is especially fun at Xmas when local markets are lit up!
