I asked some of my local and not-local homeschooling friends to finish the sentence. They are all too whimpy to post here (na na boo boo, i know you are all reading this!)

Some of their answers:

-van/vehicle (some to cart kids around, some to escape kids, LOL)

-computer/internet

-library card

-television (educational, of course *grin*)

-kitchen table

-schedule book

-her imagination (one of my faves!)

-Project Gutenburg

-dirtiable clothes

-caffeine

-alone time

Well, there ya have it!

flexible schedules

This is one of the best things that I enjoy about traveling across the country with my children (when they were younger) and seeing so many of the natural wonders, and I would think that it would be a best friend if I were homeschooling. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My husband...

He makes the money that pays for the books.
He reminds me that I do like the kids.
He at times helps me to relax and recharge.
He keeps my computer and internet updated and running.
He understands that staples for sanity are coffee and chocolate.

Mythical Fact of Homeschooling: Children will become clones of their parents.
