I would just like to take a moment and give my condolences. I never really watched wrestling much, but the WWE came up here to Anchorage Alaska in February of this year and I had the experience of getting to see Eddie drive my truck to the ring. He had chosen my truck as his lowrider, and it was great. Now that he has passed away, it makes me feel like I will always have a part of him to always remember. He was so scared to drive my vehicle because it has an airbag suspension on it, and I have a picture of him sitting in it with this excited look on his face to learn how to use the system.
To his family, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a great man.

I would like to take this time to offer my deepest sympathy to the Guerrero family. Eddie was a great man, who did wonderful things for people. I had the priviledge of coaching his daughter Shaul in Tampa, Florida at Liberty Middle School. Eddie purchased items for the girls who could not afford them, he hosted a Step Show where we raised over $1500. His wife Vicki is a wonderful person. I didn't know anything about wrestling prior to meeting the Guerrero family. They truly touched a lot of people's life in the Tampa Bay area. Eddie you will be missed, but absent from the body means to be present with the Lord. I will forever be grateful for meeting this family.

Love,
Anastasia

I will be sending this link late this week or early next week to the Guerrero family. I know they are overwhelmed and probably still in shock so I don't want to burden them right now. I know they will enjoy and appreciate these comments and I hope we made them realize that Eddie was a very beloved wrestler and we care about his family and hope they find strength to get through this terrible time.

Feel free to leave more messages. From my emails, I know there are literally thousands of you who feel the loss and would like to express it.

Patty

I have always watched Guerrero wrestle, he could work that ring like no-one else. I remember seeing the Wrestlemania when Benoit(another of the same breed) won the world title and they where standing in the ring. It made me happy seeing these guys together getting the recognition they deserved. I actually think the belts were more proud to be on worthy wrestlers. I know people go on about demons, but i think it takes a bigger man to be able to battle them, which eddie obviously was.
My girlfriend who doesn't even like wrestling and doesn't pay attention to it, noticed the tribute raw and didn't know who it was until she saw a picture of him. Then she said to me, 'Oh no not him, he was the only one who really looked like he loved and enjoyed what he does.'
My heart goes out to his family, and Chavo for finding him, i have experienced that and it is the worst thing i've experienced.
Good luck, heaven is a better place for him being there

My son asked me to leave his thoughts aswell, he is 8 years old. He is a huge Eddie Guerrero fan. We sit always together and watch the wrestling.

My little 3 year old daughter, yells Eddie, Eddie too, when he comes on. Watching wrestling is a very noisy thing in my house.

My son has almost all the wrestling games and when he plays he always is Eddie. I recently bought him a toy wrestling ring and he has a Eddie figure. I found him more than once in the morning, sleeping with it. He says he likes to keep him close to his heart, maybe if he would have done it before, Eddie's heart wouldn't have gone bad.

If even the young generation care that much, Eddie will not be forgotten, for a very long time. How could you forget a legend?

When he says his prayers at night, Eddie is always included.

He wanted me to tell you, that he is very sorry and sad that Eddie is gone. But also he is sad, that your 3 girls don't have a daddy no more. Now that it is close to xmas, he wanted to empty his money box and buy presents for them, to make sure they will have a nice time and wouldn't be too sad.

Please have strength, things will get better, I lost my father recently, I still mourn for him but the pain is gone. I remember the good times we had and the little funny things he used to do. That always puts a smile on my face.

May god bless your family and help you through your sorrow.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please anyone reading this, feel free to add your thoughts!

Well, I was actually playing pool in a yahoo chat room when I noticed an id name paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero. I searched the WWE website, but I could not discover the cause of his death. I searched on google for a website which led me here. I was very humbled by the testimonies that his fellow wrestlers gave. I wish his true character of being a father, husband, friend, and wrestler could have been made public while he was alive instead of waiting until his death to show what a grand impact that he made in the lives of the people who knew him day to day. I watched Eddie Guerrero as an electric high flying tough wrestler. It is the lost displayed in the tears of the wrestlers close to him that made me cry. It hurt to watch these rough guys cry as they paid their love and admiration for their friend. I did not know Eddie Guerrero, but I believe everyone has a friend like Eddie Guerrero...the lesson here for me is tomorrow, let my friends know how much I appreciate them.
