just joined...sooo excited..sooo many topics...so little time <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> lol

I am the proud owner of a betta (BettaBoy) about a year now..he is very happy & very friendly & get's very excited when I come home..He lives with a goldfish..

I was wondering if it's safe to place a small piece of 'coral' in the tank (that I brought back from Mexico 4 yrs ago)??

I just don't want to hurt him in any way..

Hello! I'm in no means an expert but I'm thinking... coral with rough, sharp edges in the same tank with a betta with sensitive fins? Prolly not such a good idea =\

I take great pains in making sure everything from gravel, to plant, to tank decorations are all smooth and won't snag on him and tear his fins.

Just my 2 cents. =)
