Pinkola, I too used to think so. Now I am slowly changing my mind and start to think that it is not finding out what is the essence of oneself that is the most important.

Why Adam ?

I simply think that something else is more important. This something may be achieved/given by anyone, and it is not restricted to the clever ones capable of thinking about 'the real essence of onself'. I am sure you know what I am talking about <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I had a look at the site which you advised me to look at earlier, Thank you.
Guess what! A friend of mine met a wonderful guy on the internet, they've been dating for about three years now and she is moving in a couple of months to Poland to be with him.
It just prooves that not all stories have the same ending.
Sadly i will lose a close friend but thats life isn't it..
The most important thing is that they are happy together.

There were some positive stories to read there, too.
I am personally - you know! - a skeptic of how much do we really know about online friends but I would not exclude that somebody we meet on line turns out in real life to be a good match.
