Someone in here posted something about putting a plastic garbage bag over her aged water so it didn't get cat hair and dust in it---I LOVED that tip. I only have one cat, but the cat hair seems to gravitate to that bucket.
Anyway, wondering if anyone else had any time savers/tips/ etc. when it came to cleaning tanks. I don't really have any---but I do now keep a thermometer in every tank. It not only lets me keep a constant guard over their temps (even though they're pretty much in the same general area). But I never have to wait for a temperature reading. It also keeps any cross-contamination from happening. I also keep a thermometer in the aged water bucket.
I get delivery a lot, and always have a ton of wrapped plastic straws. I use these to mix conditioner/salt/medicine, etc. A separate one for each fish. You can just throw them away and get a new one.
Any one else have any time saving/handy tips?
