I have just finished this poncho and really like the pattern stitch,I used Caron Simply Soft and it is really soft-- but I can't figure out how to assemble the darn thing!

Read the assembly instructions, still not sure how it goes together...any suggestions would be appreciated.

Take your finished piece, which is a huge rectangle it has two very long sides and two short sides. Fold it in half so that the two short sides are face to face. Now you have a fold that is the same size are your short sides, lay it down so you have a fold to your left and the short sides to your right, Now you will sew the TOP, which would be your upper right side. you sew toward your left again ON TOP, DO NOT SEW DOWN THE SHORT SIDES. Does that help ?

If I understand correctly, this is being crocheted from one side to the other, right?

You make the rectangle piece first, then you will follow the fold directions to finish it.

Thanks for the help; I finally figured it out. I really like this poncho (thank you Eva!!); planning on giving it as a Christmas gift.

Thanks again,

Paula P.
