Hello everyone

I really enjoy horror movies myself esspecially the ones that are horror/psychological thriller. The first horror movie I ever saw was friday the 13th when I was only 9 years old - I have been hooked ever since.

The only ones I dont like are the ones based on true stories (totally gross!!) I think nightmare on elm street series would have to go down as classics.

Hi all new people!

I've been indulging myself with obscure horror recently, but keep a look out for some articles on some classics soon!

Hello, Andy! I'm Phil, and I'm the new editor for SF/F Movies!

I love horror movies. Hell, I'm just a movie buff, period. lol But, where it comes to horror (and sci-fi, and fantasy) I have a passion. lol

I have too many favorite horror films to name. To do so would take up entirely too many posts. lol

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say HI!

BTW, Andy, are you British? I ask because not a lot of Americans use the term "Off you go". lol

Actually, I did think of a couple I dearly love: Final Destination 1 & 2. Haven't had a chance to see the 3rd.

Hi Everyone,

I'm really not a horror movies buff, I haven't seen very many but I like to stay up to date with all film genres as much as I can.

I tend to like psychological thrillers more, as some others have also mentioned here. I love Hitchcock and Vincent Price but I more associate them with classics as opposed to horror.

For some reason I always have to watch religious horror/suspense movies: The Omen, The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, Stigmata, etc.--I'm addicted to those, probably comes from being a preacher's daughter.

You can't beat The Rocky Horror Show. That's quite scary. Ok so it's not exactly the Texas Chainsaw Massacre but it still gives me the collywobbles (no I don't dress up for it).

I'm the new Anime editor around here, but I have to say, I'm also a little obsessed with horror. The first horror I ever saw was the first Nightmare on Elm Street, but I must confess - I really just wanted to perve on Johnny Depp. From then on (I think I was about 11? 12?) I was just hooked. I love all kinds of horror - from the truely horrific to the insanely hilarous - and not just horror movies, but books too.

My boyfriend and I actually actively seek out unintentionally hilarious horror movies. Its one of our favourite past times - to snicker at what was obviously intended to be a serious scare-fest that just didn't work. Our favourite this year was a movie that was actually banned in a state of Australia. We can't decide if it was banned because it was the kind of movie where if you take it seriously, it decreases your IQ by the second, or if the censors just didn't get the joke.

Anyhow, I'm sure I'll be haunting these forums a fair amount.

Hello everyone, Im Anne and Im a fresh meat here. Horror movies of Chinese/Korean film productions are my favorites! The kind of stories they make are not the typical ones. My all time pick is The Grudge...original version
