Hello:

We are expecting are 3rd child, a girl in the beginning of December. We have twin boys Colton and Caleb...would like feedback on these names for a girl, as the doctors say she is coming sooner. We thought we agreed on one, but now a few doubts. Please let me know what you think.

Irelyn Danielle, or Irelyn Kathleen are the first choices

Also like:
Malia Qynn
Teagyn Ann
Taylin Joelle
Evelyn Bae
Macie Bae
Kyleigh Ann
Marisa Qynn
Kaia Jo

If you can please help...

I love Irelyn and Teagyn... I kinda like them together too, like Irelyn Teagyn. I dont like Kyleigh or Kaia because your sons' names start with that same "k" sound.

Either way, you should definately stick with Irelyn as a first name... so pretty. :-)

Congratulations!!

Well I like Teagyn as a middle name, but you may not like the "yn" sounds repeating from first and middle names (irelYN teagYN).

I like Kathleen as a middle name because its Irish and kinda fits with "Irelyn"... although if it was me personally I'd pick the actual Irish form of Kathleen which is Caitlin... but again, you would have that same "lyn" sound being repeated (IreLYN CaitLIN)... I really like Colleen as a middle name though. Its Irish as well and personally I like it better than Kathleen.

Ann and Danielle as middle names are too plain sounding to me... they're so common. My mom's middle name is Ann, lol.

Qynn is cool (is it "Kinn" or "Quinn"?), but again, having that same problem as before with the repeating sound "YN".

Joelle is cute. Irelyn Joelle has a nice ring to it. My fave is still Irelyn Colleen, but Joelle is still nice.

I'm not a big fan of Bae, but I can see it fitting.

I've always loved the name Evelyn, and if you wanted that as a middle name you could shorten it to Eve. Irelyn Eve is very pretty. I guess you could do the same with Teagyn and make it Irelyn Teage (or something similar)... not as pretty as Eve, but still works.

You could also try two middle names... a friend I grew up with had the name Krystal Faye Jayne. My husband and I are doing that with our first son (if we have one) his name will be Seamus Padraig Scott Dhabolt (Dhabolt is our last name... Seamus is "Shay-mus" and Padraig is "Patrick" Scott is my maiden name). So two middle names can work as well.

In the end, my absolute fave is Irelyn Colleen... but I also like Irelyn Kathleen, Irelyn Joelle, and Irelyn Eve.

Good luck!

Thank you so much. Qynn (Quinn) is my middle name. I agree on too much of the YN sounds on the end. Kathleen so far is a big contender since it is my aunt who passed aways name, and she was a huge influence in my life...I really like Irelyn Coleen and Irelyn Joelle as well. I will have the hubby check out your suggestions

Macie Bae is a top contender as well, right now it is leaning towards Irelyn as the first name, but Macie is the 2nd

My friends named their baby Roisin (pronounced roe-SHEEN), it means Little Rose in Irish Gaelic.... I also like the Irish name Saoirse (pronounced SAIR-sha)

How about Irelyn Roisin or Irelyn Saoirse? Goes with the nice Irish theme without the double "lyn" problem.
