Is he REALLY gone? Was the character written out of the script?

I would like to know the same thing! I was home sick today and able to watch my soaps "live" instead of watching the TIVO later at night which I'm actually behind on and I couldn't believe what I had heard that he was gone. Does anyone know what is going on with this and how he died? I'd love to find out the scoop.

I don't think he's gone. I think it all goes back to when they were negotiating the character who play Luis' contract. At first he wasn't going to come back, then changed his mind. He had been written out of the script for the summer, but will return.

I have read that Luis will be back in early 2006. They wrote this story while they didn't think he was going to renew his contract. He did renew so now they're going to have to backpeddle.

I hope Luis is not gone off of the show for good, that will ruin the show all together. I wont want to watch it anymore. He was the best on this show, he and Sheridan together were wonderful together. Please bring him back on the show. Thanks,

i think luis will come back in earley 2006 cause he did this alot of times before and came back every time

he's was to leave, but resigned a 2 year contract, so they had originally written him off, but how they have him return will be interesting.
