I love the idea of the santa granny squares. Sounds like fun. How many do you have to make? They sound so cute. I know your grandson and his class will enjoy them.

I dont' think I could make these balls. I have seen them. They are very pretty. But I would go crazy trying to figure them out.

Thanks Valerie. The wreath is really cute. Think I'll try to make one of them. It is so real looking.

I've just started my Christmas presents and maybe I will make some snowflakes. I am making this huge snowflake to sew on to a skirt i am making for Jan/feb. The skirt isn't crochet but the snowflake is...I'm making it out of sportweight baby yarn. It's white with metalic silver in it.

I like the idea of crocheted snowflakes on a tree skirt. Would look nice with the snowflake hanging on the tree too. Have you considered crocheting icesicles to go with the snowflakes?

I have been crocheting snowflakes and flat angels to give to the Grandkids and use on gifts.

I have been making these things so many years that I don't really need to make more, I just enjoy doing it so much.

Granddaughter is getting the poncho I am making too. It seems as that sort of thing is 'in' again for the pre-teens.

That really sends me back to my old 'hippy' days in the 60's. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Sorry nanadeb I just saw this post. I guess I'm not keeping up too well these days. I just had to make 22. They go fast though so it wasn't bad.
The santas are probably going to get monotonous though!

Would love to see the pictures of the santas Grace. I hope to get done with some crocheted belts soon working on the 4th one now. Maybe I can get started on more christmas crochet then.
