Ack! I tried to do a search to see if this subject had already come up, but I seem to have problems with the search engine. (It doesn't like me I don't think) Is that bad for an editor to admit?
It looked like there might have been a discussion pertaining to astral projection back in May '05. Parthena's got LOTS of links on her site pertaining to the subject.
Parthenaaaaaaa, where are youoooooo
(We'll see if yodeling helps any)
Sorry guys, I tried to pick up the 2 yr old today, needed the Demerol again. It makes poasting fun tho!

I agree with you and Lauren's opinion that opalmoon may be doing a little astral projecting - how exciting!
But also - remember that things are not going to make sense in dreams 99% of the time. It's not at all unusual to be wearing something you don't own or see people you don't know or be in a house you've never seen.
So, if we were to interpret as a typical dream:
The bed/bedroom is a place of rest and where you dream - as well as where you make love. You're watching yourself sleep:
Sleeping and DreamingCan you place at all who those people may represent and why you needed to get their attention?
Also, please consider that you may be ready to try lucid dreaming. Most of us have lucid dreams without realizing it. Conscious lucid dreaming takes some work but is worth the effort. In lucid dreams, you can learn to direct what's taking place because you're actually partially awake, and it can also be a step toward astral travel.
I'm reading a fascinating book on the topic and will be reviewing it soon. Maybe we could practice some of the exercises together, perhaps as a course.
There's a big long article at the top of the forum and several places on the dreams home page about that persnickety search engine and how to get it to work a little better, at least on this site;)
and gentle hugs for your aches and pains are on the way.
