BellaOnline Forums Relationships Married No Kids please forgive the intrusion but i wanted to say..

i had no idea that choosing to remain childless was so problamatic. its refreshing to know that everyone gets blasted and questioned no matter what they choose to do. i wish we all lived in a world where your choices were yours alone and never questioned but we don't. i admire you all for your choice and (at times) have a touch of envy..lol. i just wanted to share a parents high regard for those who stay CF.

I don't know why parents choose to read forums they don't share a common interest with.

I understand maybe if I were thinking about getting a dog or a motorcycle say, and I went to a dog or motorcycle forum, but going to a childfree forum when you have kids I don't get.

I don't trust people who write posts like the one above. Is she being sarcastic? Why couldn't she just lurk?!

Holy [censored]...TTC number 9! I'm not trying to be mean in anyway. But wow thats a lot of kids. I guess I am so used to homes with 2 or 3, and when I see 9 my mouth drops open.

no worries! i'm not judging everyone based on the veiws of a few! i'm glad some of the folks on this board can accept a compliment gracefully. i only posted because i can sympathize with the unwelcome comments and questions. i get them because of the size of our family..

deloncrey, yeah..we know its alot..most people started asking if we were done after 3..again..personal choices becoming public business..sigh..you know how that is.

thinker, i have no idea how i was trolling. my understanding trolling is advertising something shamelessly in an unwelcome way. being a nice person isn't trolling in my book.

People may judge you for the choice of having nine children, but it does not compare to making the choice of having zero kids.

You were talking about making choices and you made the choice to join what society deems acceptable nine times.
Your unwanted comments and questions are quite different than the ones I get. Have ever been told you are a cold or a person without feelings?

no i have never been accused of being cold or unfeeling but i have been accused of trying to use children to compensate for something i'm missing in my life...different reasons for the comments do not make them hurt any less...just MHO.
