Thanks, PiwoJohn and Lily.

I think Jaga is planning to move the forum also, but we have to get some shut-eye first! And then decide where we are going. In the meantime, we just linked to this one.

Jaga & Nancy the new site looks great!
Having done my share of websites - I can tell that there is a whole lot of hard work there! You have put together a very polished and professional site. You should be proud!

Chris,

Thanks, Jaga did 99% and I did 1% (main page and genealogy).

You have done websites? Any tips? I am a rookie, just learned enough HTML to get into trouble... trying to get Dreamweaver software. Have you used that?

Nancy,
I have not used Dreamweaver heard of it but not familar with it. I am MAC based and used frontpage to do my stuff. As far as tips - the only thing I can say is that the best thing to do is to jump in and do it! I know that doesn't help. As you know know web publishing is VERY time consuming always something to do or to tweak. As I was trying to do pages AND write a dissertation I had to choose one or the other - my choice? I left my pages in other hands.

My new hobby is baking chocolate chip cookies for the polish team here - I find it amazing and amusing that the guys have never heard of chocolate chip cookies! They are crazy for them and it keeps me off the streets.

I do want to empahasize that I think you ARE doing a wonderful job and are on the right track. It looks amazing and more importantly it is functional.

Right now I am in Florida - the cookies are for the Polish delegation to US CENTCOM. But I AM in a polish state of mind if that counts!

The webpages are so far gone from what I was doing there is no way I can say they are mine.

Simply want to add my congratulations to all the previous ones about the superb job you have done on the site. (Professionals and working girls as well!!). I regret not a single moment since I joined the forum and the new site is going to make the experience even more enjoyable, entertaining and, dare I say it, educational.

My sentiment exactly.
