BellaOnline Forums Travel and Culture Budget Travel Gas prices causing you to cancel your travel?

With the recent severe weather in the South, many people are rethinking their coastal vacations because of weather concerns and rising gas prices. Have you had to cancel a vacation? Did you end up traveling to a different destination?

This isn't exactly travel: but the Governor here in GA just asked all the school districts NOT to have school on Mon. & Tues. in order to conserve gas.

This is the same Gov. Perdue that said not to panic last time & berated all of the gas stations and news stations for causing a panic. So if he thinks there is a problem, then I'm tending towards believing him, because he is not one to panic.
