Hello, I'm a n00blet to this forum. I love Lisa's work on all those great walkthroughs all the boss faqs and some of them for FFX are slightly vague, no offense, but still very well written. I've played FFX a few times and have decided to play again due to my love of it and the fact that I can't afford any new games at the moment. I'm kind playing Ratchet and Clank 3 though.

I'm just curious on everyone's favorite parties. I know the game is designed to switch in everyone when needed, but I never have. Too much work to level everyone up. My two fave parties would be Tidus, Auron, and Wakka and Tidus, Lulu and Wakka? Now I'm trying Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka. Although no offense for Yuna in some sense kinda hurts cause I hate to call on Aeons because I feel like I'm sacrificing the will of my part for it. Too weak so I have to resort to them. But the first mentioned party can stink given no magic usage. Although I'm usually over leveled with superb strength for the area so I'm good and elemental striking weapons help that.

But past all this miniscule information I want to really know if you'd advise switching people in and pros and cons for it and other parties you like to use. But it'll be hard to make me give up Tidus and Wakka. I just love Blitz Ace and Attack Reels.

ok heres some advice RELY ON YOUR AEONS MORE the more you use em the stronger they get and they also get yuna up who you WILL need for Braska's Final Aeon, i think its almsot impossible to kill him without using your aeons and without using yuna to heal and buff up your party

Thank you for the advice but it wasn't really helpful. Sorry if I'm sounding rude. All my parties (I've beat the game 8 times) have killed Braska's Final Aeon in like twenty seconds since they do 99,999 with the Ultimate Weapons. I'm looking for party suggestions with strong facts to back them up because Yuna obviously can be useful but the fact that getting her to Lulu's part of the sphere grid makes me dislike her. Why waste a party member to just be a support character although Aeons do help. But they take out everyone else, which I hate. Thanks though. ^^

wow 99,999 damage? i can only get yunas ultimate wepon with powerups... I suck at all those god damn mini games you MUST play... But i was going by the asumption that you used normal equip and not all ult weapons. I think my favorite party is Auron, Tidus,Lulu to start then is usually switch in wakka for tidus. And if i really need to ill switch in yuna with Lulu just to heal or buff then i get her back out

well my fravourite party was Tidus, Auron, & Wakka mainly because i got their ultimate weapons first. During the game i never used aeons most people depend on them but i saw no need and i didnt like having just one character to fight with. i mean whats the point of being able to teach your aeons full life, or hastega when theres only one of them? but now i've done everyone up i found that they are pretty Strong i especially like Maga Sisters and Anima, and have you found that when your near the end of the game lulu is quite useless as her magic only does about 70,000 damage?

Thanks for the info, I think I'll be going Tidus, Wakka, and Lulu. Lulu's Black Magic is quite powerful and after she completes her part of the grid there is Yuna's so she can do White and Black Magic.

uhhh yeah i didnt mean to say usless my bad. but i find it just doesnt keep up with a solid attack of 99,999. and have you noticed how the good abilites are all locked and by the time you unlock them you have no need for them. like zombie attack and full break by the time you get to unlock them the monsters you fight are immune to it which kinda sucks, i reckon you should be able to get zombie attack really early so yuna can do some damage and you dont just use her for her aeons

Can anyone PLEASE help me out here....I have two problems. One is I have the Clouded Mirror and am trying to get the Celestial Mirror but when I go up the "magic pathway" there isn't a boy there but instead someone talking about them being on break and something about a tree falling in the pathway. Also, when I returned to the Makalanian Temple, there was a guy that called me a fool and I am now stuck fighting a guado guard and whatever minions he sends out. I kill them all quite easily but the guado keeps reappearing. I can't get out of it.

i can help you there. for the mirror thing i never came across this problem, but go here http://www.bellaonline.com/gaming/strategy_lib_ffxwalk_s3.html it might tell you. judging by the fact when you went back to macalania temple and you didnt fight a dark shiva i assume your not playing the international version. but the same thing happens on the international version when you beat her. all you gotta do is run back out dont bother fighting them they just keep coming and theres one of those invisible barriers so you cant get in. once you run out go back in and they are gone and the priest chap there tells you the guado have left so you can go back in

Ah thanks. I finally figured out that you just run away from the fights and then the guards chase you (like they did when you defeat Semour the first time).

I didn't know the mom and dad said different things.....that's what I was missing. Thank you.
