Not a mum but perhaps i might have a few useful ideas

I sometimes find crystals disturb the energy around me (might be that I haven't found the right one yet). I also find it easier to sleep in a cleansed room both physically and with energy.

I have also heard of some babies who sleep better when there is noise around them. Also a good bed time routine helps, going through the same motions every night may prepare your baby for sleep

I also give a big vote for lavender baths.

oh and one last thing, what colour is the nursery? Is it vibrant energetic reds and yellows or more calming greens and lavenders?

Firefly, remember this is just a suggestion from a mother of two, could she be hungry ? I know from experience that every baby is so different, my youngest did just fine with milk alone but my older one wanted food and he would not sleep thru the night until a very generous person made him a bottle mixed with about a teaspoon full of the baby cereal and I thought she had done something to him because he did sleep like a baby.

About 27 years ago when my second one was born, I was told this tip. It is true, and the doctors do not want the moms to feed anything besides formula or breast milk for a certain length of time, but sometimes the milk is not enough! So I have mentioned this now and again to young mothers whose babies are not quite satisfied. I do not know what the nipples are like these days, but back then we had to enlarge the hole a tad, so the thickened formula would flow through. Isn't it great when they sleep like babies?! And, thanx to You, I have started crocheting again. So Thank You.
