Here is what I have done so far:
Contacted Offinger Management spoke with Debbie Johnston who emailed me a press release, which I am holding onto.
Sent an email to Craft Yarn Council
Sent an email to the British Hand Knitting Guild

Once I get the other 2 emails answered, I will look at all the info and start from there. I WILL get to the bottom of this. So far with the little info I have, It seems the the title "Worlds Fastest Crocheter" has been mis used, but again I am basing this on the information that I have so far. I honestly beleive that this is a case of wrong WORDING, that should be corrected. Again once I receive everything, I will certainly be posting it here and will be asking for opinion etc because I do not want to seem like I am "forcing" my point of view on the crocheters of the world.

This is a very interesting debate to me. I am interested in these "standards" one is held to. I believe in giving credit where it is due, so please share the information you learn. I would like to see this title used properly and Lisa given her props.

Press Release??? On which website can you find the press release from CGOA? Or did only the members get this press release? Would be interested to know this too?

EUREKA, I think. I did find some of the requirements on
http://www.bhkc.co.uk/data/fastest_knitter.htm and they are calling it "The BHKC's Global Speed Knitting/Crochet Contest". I have read and re read the reqirements and for the life of me I can not find the SHELLS that Lily has constantly referred to ???? I need you all to help me out here with this, please. As I get information I will post it and welcome EVERYONE'S view. This just is not adding up here.

yeah, really. It almost seems "covert" the way they've bestowed this title on her. CGOA should be ashamed of themselves.
