I know a woman who developed Bells palsy (?) while she was pregnant. Basically, her face looked like she had a stroke almost during her entire pregnancy! Ugh! Can you imagine? Talk about ruining your body and your face. Luckily for her, it went away once she gave birth. But who the hell would want to walk around like that for 9 months?!!??! You just never know what kind of havoc pregnancy can wreak on your body (and face). Not worth the risk to me....

Well, her face was like that for the entire pregnancy and as soon as she gave birth it went back to normal. Isn't that bizarre?!!? Oh, and that was her last pregnancy! She said she would NEVER do it again.

If your mother felt that way, you wouldn't be here
You neglect to take into account that some of us don't really care...if my mom had never had me, what would I miss? I haven't yet found a cure for cancer or made any significant contribution to this world whatsoever and I don't really expect that I ever will (I daresay most people don't). My life has never been so absolutely great that I would much think it a tragedy in any way if I'd never been born. *shrug*
My mom is still physically screwed up from pregnancy. Yes, I imagine she would've eventually become overweight anyway, but my dad tells me when they got married my mom weighed 110 pounds, now she weighs...uh, much more...and I'm sure I helped the weight gain process along significantly. 22 years later she still has the hemorrhoids she got from giving birth. She also has a myriad of other health problems (inc. thyroid problems that make it difficult for her to lose weight and fibromyalgia/arthritis that makes it almost impossible for her to exercise, so nobody even TRY trotting out that "lazy" BS to me) that I'm not SURE were caused by me as they mostly didn't start until I was at least 5 or 6, but you never know. If it weren't for me, my mom's health may have been fine now or at least much better than it was.

Yes the idea of giving birth is horrifing!! I saw my sister give birth and it was nasty. Then with her second kid I went in right after to take photos and she bled like crazy! I sat on her bed holding her hand, she had oxygen and was pasty white! Even her midwife told her not to have any more kids!
No way would I ever put myself through that!

Yeah, pregnancy is VERY disgusting! That's not the only reason I don't want to have kids, but it is a reason. I've never really seen an actual birth, but I've seen the disgusting belly buttons, stretch marks, scars, nasty bellies (nothing worse then going to the beach and seeing a 8 month pregnant woman in a bikini>.<). It's just all repulsive. When I found out that when you have kids, you spew fourth fecal matter and urin, bleh, I'm not messin up my body like that. On a personal note, I've seen what it makes your [censored] look like afterwards, EWWWW!

Katja, I have heard that from so many of my friends, "My body has been so screwed up/never the same since I had little Bratkins." Pregnancy is so hard on the body. It totally destroys it. Collagen production is reduced thereby looking older than you really are, your immune system is never the same - possibly putting you at risk to develop the auto immune disease lying in wait in your body, weight gain and the inability to lose it, hormonal imbalances and the possible psychosis that go along with them, the sagging, the stretch marks, your feet get bigger. NO THANKS. I am 38 and have the body of a 12 year old and would like to keep it that way. Yea, boobs and all but at least they don't sag!!! LOL ; )

Yes, even when I watch That's My Baby on Animal Planet. Visually it is disgusting. I remember saying to myself, "Yuck", when I witnessed my niece being born.
The idea of having a kid just because you're pregnant also disgusts me.
