I know it is natural and all that, but the idea of a human being squeezing out of my private area has always disgusted me beyond belief!!! Other things that disgust me are breast feeding and that huge, hard stomach with stretch marks. I have never thought pregnant women looked beautiful-always thought they looked as though an alien had taken over their bodies, like something straight out of a science fiction movie. Does pregnancy or any other part of the birthing process disgust anyone else?

birth would be a relief to get that thing out of me! but i have always been disgusted with pregnancy---darkened, out of shape nipples and stretch marks and just having something inside you that moves and kicks and eliminates....eeeesh! it is monsterous to me. and then to have to take care of it for the next 20 yrs! or more if it is defective. bleh.

I know what you mean. The idea of something alive inside me also disgusts me. I was beginning to think I was crazy and I was the only woman who felt that way.
I remember as a child seeing a woman in a movie who was crying because she said she would never "have the pleasure of feeling a baby moving and growing inside her," I remember saying to the TV that I would be thanking my lucky stars if I were her. I had to be about 11 at the time.
I guess I just didn't get that "maternal instinct."

I have seen the birthing process before, and let me tell you. It's REALLY disgusting. Not just the bulging belly, but also the dirty fluid after the baby followed by fresh blood that comes out with the placenta.

my girlfriend almost died because the baby moved its bowels three days before it was born and was born in all that rot and she had an infection and ended up having to have reconstructive surgery to put it all back together inside! It was horrible! The infection ate a hole thru to her colon.

god yes! i thought i was the only one who felt that way too!it's one of the reasons why i don['t want children. i can't imagine why anyone would want to go through all that! the stretch marks alone and i've seen some bad ones are totally gross! my friend had a baby two years ago and when i saw her in the hospital the next day she looked like she got hit with a mac truck. i really like to work out and i watch my weight so i can't even imagine going through nine months of having my body look horrible and then spending god knows how long to get my body back in shape if ever!i never ever ever wanted to get pregnant in my whole entire life. i had considered adoption years back when i thought i might want a kid someday but never pregnancy. i can't believe that so many women are bent on getting pregnant. maybe they want to prove something.i don't know.i just don't get it. and the pain i mean when i work out with weights at the gym and my legs start to hurt a bit i just think man if i was in labor i couldn't imagine how much pain i would be in and then i thank god that i will never have to go through that!!

And to make matters worse, female celebrities like Julia Roberts who send the message that pregnancy is a real pleasant breeze. Yeah, right. Like I said, I've seen the birth process before.

YES! In another post I mention that I find the entire process from start to finish just grotesque! And the pain as also mentioned here must be unbearable. Then again I guess you can get drugs for that from what I hear, but still that would not make me change my mind! Also, the thought of not being able to drink coffee or anything with caffeine, drink alcohol or have other foods and be so paranoid about what I did, etc... would drive me up a wall! So I say no way for me.

I love this string - hilarious - and it's the dark truth that no one wants to talk about.

Does the thought of pregnancy and giving birth disgust me? HELL YES!

It's not the reason I'm not gonna do it, but it certainly doesn't make me want to change my mind either.
