I found this URL online and it looks like a good one,
http://home.earthlink.net/~linkslilyray/ Also please take a look at http://www.bellaonline.com/ where a list of our very own editors , here at Bellaonline have generously donated 100% of the ebook sales for September to the Red Cross. If anyone has any more ideas on how we can help, please feel free to post them here.

I thought of one more way to help. I just heard that Walmart will be having a place to donate and normally I would NEVER and I mean NEVER suggest that anyone give up yarn but let's make this a sort of group effort. Please give up buying 1 or more skeins of yarn and donate that money to help. I gave up 5 skeins today ($11.00) if each one of us just gives a little bit, it will all add up. If all you have to give is a $1.00, thats great too. I really want to help and right now, this is the only way. If any of the Hurricane Katrina Victums are reading this, please know my heart goes out to you and we wish you a fast, speedy journey back.

ONE WORD....EBAY!!! ...set up through Mission Fish...I already did two and donated the proceeds to the Medical Support Assn. (100%)...the totals were close to $50 combined...for now, that's what I can do...I plan to do more soon, plus donations for Susan G. Komen Fdn. in October for Breast Cancer Research here in NYC...

All of the RED CROSS places are exepting donations of clothes, blankets, etc. So, if you have any squares made from scrap yarn....(I know I have a ton), whip them into an afgahn and donate donate donate. It's a good way to recycle yarn and help the needy.
