No matter what lifestyle you're doing, try this for a week.

Eat at home. No fast food, no processed food. Buy real, actual ingredients and cook yourself fresh food. Count up how much you saved by avoiding restaurants and candy / chips / sodas / etc. Then donate that extra money to your favorite charity.

I know that many of us are on tight budgets, and don't have extra money to donate. But even a few dollars can help, if all of us do it. Clip coupons, check the circulars for specials, and try to eat at home just for a week. That small savings can really mean a world of difference to those in need.

That's a great Idea! However, don't forget the SALVATION ARMY, who actually gives more of your donation to the victims themselves, instead of to executives. This selfless group works hard without thought of financial gain, to relieve the suffering. Here's their website:
