Hi,
Is anyone familiar with the town of Mrongowo in the Mazury Lakes Region of Poland? Recently found cousin is building a Bed & Breakfast in the area and was looking for information on the area. From the photos I was sent it is a beautiful area, similar to the farm lands in Pennsylvania my home state. Showing off my family photos to co-workers all have commented on how clean the cities are in Poland and how lush and green the country side is. PROUD TO BE POLISH!!!

Chardonell,

I do not know this area at all - except that it was discussed once on this forum - can you show us the pictures you have?

When I visited SE Poland (near Rzeszow) I was struck by the fact that it looked like the Connecticut River valley, in Massachusetts, where my grandparents settled. I also noticed how absolutely spotless and perfectly neat everything in the village was! Puts me to shame!!

Hi Nancy
My cousin recently returned from Poland. He has the pictures on Snapfish.com Under album name Poland 2005.
I am not really sure but you should be able to view it on that site, You need to sign-up but it is free. I also had them printed from the site but am not sure how to post them on this site. If you can tell me how to do it I would be happy to share the photos with you.

Mragowo is a beautiful town in the lake area of Poland. Unusual atmosphere - people who love sailing come there.

Mazury is probably the most clean and pristine region of Poland. My last and one of the best vacations just before going to the US where in this lake area!

Chardonelle,

I checked out snapfish, it is easy to sign up but you can only view someone else's photos if they send you an invitation. Very private!
