Money is a consideration, but time is one as well, therefore I would like to travel to a destination and stay for a month or two. The ability to travel some where and immerse myself in the local culture is always interesting.

(First, I don't understand how anyone can be "jealous" of something he doesn't have. I think some people are mistaking jealousy for envy)

Personally, when I am on holiday, I don't wish to spend most of my time in a hotel room, so I'd go for a nice, but not elaborate room. However, when traveling for an overseas trip, I would like business class (I doubt many know what first class is; it's extremely elaborate and more than most people want or need).

Where I'd want the most money is for transportation within the city or countries and for restaurants!

I would cruise to Hawaii and live on a private beach for a month or two. I would have to have my friends and family with me as well.

I'm an avid collector of horse brasses, so I'd buy a new big shed and fill it with the beauties.

I would go on a river cruise though Europe with a water view cabin! Looks like a great way to travel.

Ecotours ... I would love to go to Brazil and see the Hyacinth Macaws in the wild or many of the other tours they have that raise money to preserve wild lands and wild life.

I just love travelling by train! I have crossed the U.S. and Canada on the rails, but to make my experiences complete, I would splurge on the Orient Express. How luxurious is that!

That's easy! Even though we're moving to the Big Island in
February, if I had the extra money right now for a vacation, I'd do Christmas and New Year's in Hawaii. My son and I would stay at the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island and swim with the dolphins there. And enjoy the beautiful pool with its slides and waterfalls and New Year's eve fireworks. I'd go shopping in Honolulu and buy a Wyland painting and Hawaii jewelry. We'd take the Honolulu Lights trolley (not expensive but fun) and just enjoy our Hawaiian Christmas. And even if I had the money to stay in luxury hotels, I'd also camp at Friends of Malaekahana on the beach :-)

I agree about the health spa! It would be great to go to Hawaii or someplace and endulge in massages, yoga classes and meditation for a couple weeks.

If I had the money I'd get the best room they had and splurge!
