good luck to those who venture into the scary world of getting fitted for bras.
Oooh, no!! I used to think it was scary, but now.... *sighs happily* I
feel so much better wearing a bra that fits!! And the boobies! They LOVE wearing bras that fit! They look so
loverly in bras that fit! *grins*
It was a Lane Bryant associate who measured me for the first time after I'd gained weight.... No, I lie. She was the first one who'd ever measured me correctly at all after my first training bra. After that first training bra, I'd just bought the first bra that felt right after I'd tried several on. I'd worn a B or a C cup for years and years and years. When the LB associate measured me and told me I was a 44DD, I laughed at her, and then when I finally got my hysteria under control, she gave me several bras to try on and lo and behold, she was right. I apologized profusely when I got to the counter to buy my new bras, and she just laughed and said that I wasn't the first woman to be measured and be surprised.
I get remeasured after any significant (20# up or down) weight gain or loss, but for now I've not changed bra sizes. I recommend to anyone who will listen to get measured for a bra... Its not scary, its wonderful! *grins*
