bra fitting is very important! please girls give it a thought,both medical,and looks. medical lack of support leads to glandular drainage problems, and to tight restricks blood flow not good ether

Oh yes. Last time I had a "proper" bra fitting the lady, who said she had been doing it for the past 17 years, took a good look at me and pronounced that I was a "38F". After I stopped laughing I told her I wouldn't argue the cup size but that there was no way on God's Green Earth that a 38 was going to go around me! She, of course, wasn't amused, but guess who was right? Me!

you need to take mesurments,and even that is only a starting point. you need to be board certified with proper training most small shops the girls only learn what they have to to sell the bras in the store , that does not make them board certified

As the Asst. manager at Lane Bryant store I have to concurr that a proper bra fitting is key to having your clothes fit and look better. Note I said PROPER. All the ladies that work at a lane bryant store are trained to do accurate bra fittings with in the first 30 days of their training, there actually is a whole guide with Q & A that new hires have to complete as well as try on all the different bras in the store and bra fit at least a dozen people (co workers, themselves, friends, family, even the mannequins) before they are released to fit the general public.

Its free, painless and we dont require you to buy the bras. And as a personal note, I wore 40D for YEARS, then I started working there they fitted me as a DD and I even now wear atleast half of my shirts a size smaller because of the fact that my breasts are right where they ought to be. Plus wearing the right bra makes all these empire waisted surplice neckline shirts look amazing =]

Oooh, no!! I used to think it was scary, but now.... *sighs happily* I feel so much better wearing a bra that fits!! And the boobies! They LOVE wearing bras that fit! They look so loverly in bras that fit! *grins*

It was a Lane Bryant associate who measured me for the first time after I'd gained weight.... No, I lie. She was the first one who'd ever measured me correctly at all after my first training bra. After that first training bra, I'd just bought the first bra that felt right after I'd tried several on. I'd worn a B or a C cup for years and years and years. When the LB associate measured me and told me I was a 44DD, I laughed at her, and then when I finally got my hysteria under control, she gave me several bras to try on and lo and behold, she was right. I apologized profusely when I got to the counter to buy my new bras, and she just laughed and said that I wasn't the first woman to be measured and be surprised.

I get remeasured after any significant (20# up or down) weight gain or loss, but for now I've not changed bra sizes. I recommend to anyone who will listen to get measured for a bra... Its not scary, its wonderful! *grins*

it truly makes a big differance in your aperance, you will have to see for yourself. but lets not forget there is a medical side to getting fitted also, you have to be careful when you add lift pads and then put on a tight bra and call it a push up bra, remember to tight causes restriction in blood flow . if you have red marks when you take off your bra it is restricting blood flow,and to loose will cause limph node drainage problems
