what you need to do is upload your photo to photobucket.com or another photo storage place, and then take the link from the location of the photo and use the html code- EDIT NO IT IS NOT HTML CODE< SEE BOTTEM FOR THE CORRECT CODE

WRONG <img src="http://www.anysite.com/photo.jpg"> where you want the photo - fill in the site location and the name of the picture instead of what I put in and you should be good to go.

RIGHT [i mage]http://www.anysite.com/photo.jpg[/i mage] only do not use the spaces in the word image, it must be all one word.

I'm not real great at explaining things, so I hope this helps!

Hi all,

I was going to post a pic of my fish tank but wow...that last photo I saw posted here is just amazing! What a gorgeous setup. I tend to be an amateur with fish...only knew very basics on keeping them, and would have problems (common to newbies, overstocking, overfeeding, etc.). Right now I have a 30-gal tank with 3 plecos, 5 small tetras (forget the name of them, they have white tips on their fins), a gold gourami, four cory cats (two of them are babies that emerged from out of nowhere a few weeks ago, was I ever surprised!), and roughly 25 sunburst (or is it sunset?) platys. Of those 25, 3 are adult platys and the rest are all fry in baby savers right now.

I will have to make a trip to the fish store soon, in the hopes they will take the babies once they're mature enough, and probably wind up giving away two of my plecos as well. Two of them are common plecos and they're getting pretty big for my tank. One is around 8" and the other is close to 11". The 3rd is a gold pleco, much smaller than the other two.

And right now I'm in the middle of fixing my tank...it began leaking a couple of weeks ago, so I have all of my fish crammed into a 10-gal tank temporarily, while the silicone cures in my self-fixit job. Crossing fingers that I've fixed the problem! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Isn't it great when those babies come out of no where. I used to keep platys and once and awhile I would see 1 or 2 of these tiny little babies. So cool.

I think your plan of rehoming the two plecos sound good. Those things get huge.

Good luck witrh the tank repair. Let us see some pics when it's back up.

Well, here are some pics of my aquarium. I'm almost embarrassed to show them, as it isn't anything special...and in some of the pics the glass probably looks streaky (because it was!). LOL...I had just finished getting everything back up and running after repairing a leak in the tank, and of course got water on the outside when I transferred the fish. Thought I'd wiped the streaks off, but after looking at the pics realized they were still there. The good news is, the leak is no longer there, so I guess my repair job was okay.

In this pic you can see my medium pleco and my gourami the best (and the adult platys behind the streaks!). Only one of my fish has a name, but I'm seriously considering calling the gourami Brutus. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Nice fish and good job on the tank repair.

You might want to add a background. Sometimes it really adds to the look and makes the fish really pop out. I use bristol board from the dollar store for mine. It comes in 20"x 24" sheets. That way you can experiment with colours with out spending a pile on backgrounds. You do have to be careful with the water though.LOL

I like that suggestion; thanks Biffmalawi. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I used to have a background on my old tank (one of those photo types that you get from the fish store by the foot) but found it was too 'cluttered' and took away from seeing the fish. I do like your suggestion though, I'll have to give that a try...!
