BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Daytime TV GH's Courtney & Nicholas - terrible pairing!!

I actually stopped watching the show in June when Michael was back and Carly had just married Alcazar. I got bored and a few weeks ago was home for a week with car problems and saw Nicholas drunk on the peer after drinking beers at some place where Georgie was working - looked new to me -

So Nicholas arrived at the peer and then Courtney and they kissed. I was so glad I stopped watching the show. One other time over the summer I saw her at a barn all dressed up with Nicholas, she had some meeting and got caught in the rain there or something odd.

So today we were home and again these two hook up on the pier and are kissing. I guess Elizabeth is now living with Courtney & Jax and Ric and Alexis are back together and it almost seemed like the night Ric and Reeese spent was going to come to light, but not so.

I am bored to tears with the Emily and Nicholas storyline and all else on the show, so guess I will watch when I have the opportunity to see what else is outrageously being done.

This pairing is the worse yet I have seen. I just don't buy it one bit and it turns me off of the show.

Well today's show while they were in the Bahamas was actually hot. The two of them in their bathing suits with their tatoos showing! They both have hot bods and would make a good pairing.

It took awhile for me to like them together, but they seemed so relaxed while in their white robes drinking brandy on the bed in Courtney's room.

That snake was so fake! This show loves using snakes. Remember at Elizabeth's old studio there was a snake put there by - well I forget now but Jason was the hero at the time, I think.

The scenes with Nickolas and Emily seem so strained, maybe because they broke off their off screen relationship, but they do not fit together, and since I do not like the pairing of Jax and Courtney - I like these two and have changed my tune.

Well if nickolas is going to be with courtney then who is emily going to fall for? Lucky? Then Elizabeth must be getting with Jax?

But regardless, I miss the old carly!!!!! I do not like the new one. She just doesn't have the attitude down like the old Carly did. She was much more believable in the part!

Emily should have NO time for romance since she is studying to be a Doctor. I agree about the old Carly, but I felt that when she too took the part from the original Carly.

My son started back at school today so we missed the first half hour and only saw when Jax was leaving the Hotel and then he and Emily on plane together.

Wow those scenes for tomorrow with Nikkolas and Courtney look good.

Well basically Jax hit Nickolas and then kicked him and courtney stopped him. Before that Sam left the house with that Andrew guy and he is trying to get her to marry him right now and not have a wedding. Jason escaped and put a knife around the ladies neck and she told him sam was gone.

Maxi is now getting those strange hang up calls from the guy that drugged them (like brook) but on Maxi's call the caller said "you owe me". They found traces of lead paint on all the girls clothes (clue). Then later they show Lucas and Dillan talking and Lucas told Dillan he couldn't help with the dorm room right now because he had to finish painting a job. (Clue - is lucas the bad guy?) Dillan made a crack to Lucas about girls and Lucas turned with a really scary look and then walked away. I think Lucas is the guy drugging all the girls.

Thats about all that happened. Oh, Jax rebuilt Emily and Lucky's apartment for them.

Yep I saw that. What do you think of the actress that plays Sam doing double roles? You just knew that it would involve ballroom dancing - trying to capitalize on her stint and win on the Tv show. I actually did vote the first week for her since I felt bad, but never voted after that.

I like the role Meg Bennett is playing - she looks wonderful. She is married to Bob Guza. She was also a head writer in the 1980s for the show. I believe she was on Y&R too at one time - she played Victor's first wife and was a writer there or still is?

I read on the GHHII MSN group that Kari Wurther (Reese) is pregnant with her second child - that will be interesting to see if they use it inthe storyline and have it be Ric's kid.

I would think that Alexis should be farther along - it did not look like she was that pregnant the other day when I saw her standing at the dock.

I do not want to see a hint of a pairing between Sonny and Emily - just does not work for me and Jason would not like it one bit.

Too bad it is the new Carly that has the breakdown - would have rather seem Tamara in that role. Oh well the actress leaves and the role gets juicy.

Anyone here ever go to a fan happening for the show or any show? I am in Los Angeles and curious to go to either a GH or Y&R shindig. I would love to go to a taping of Soap net, but I switched my cable and do not get that show!

I don't know if I like the Courtney/Nicholas thing, even if Jax is being an [censored] about things. Yes, they might look good together... but think about it. Emily and Nicholas have been through so much [censored]... they had to fight like hell to get married in the first place, and now they don't even like each other any more? How do you go through so much stuff with a person, just to fall out of love with them? Then Courtney and Jax are making me mad... Elizabeth is pregnant with their baby... hello! I'd be feelin all rosy and happy if someone was having my dream child. (sigh) and yet that's why we watch soaps is because of all the drama. Gotta love it.

Hey you know what I agree totally with you. Ive stopped watching the show myself cuz I got so aggravated with what gh was doing with Emily and Nicholas. Emily and Nicholas belong together. They are soulmates and what theve been doing now just plain sucks. I even wrotet to the writeres criticizing them for what theve been doing;telling them that they need to reunite Emily and Nicholas. There are even campaigns going on to reunite Emily and Nicholas and there still going on strong now. But if you really think about it;of whats been going on lately. Heres my theory and alot of other people have the same theory. Nicholas isnt really Nicholas;its Connor. Connor somehow survived and switched places with him during Emilys therapy section with the help of Helena and since Helena is coming back this fall it would make perfect sense. I mean this is exactly what Helena would do since shes been trying to seperate Emily and Nicholas for a long time now.Think about it. When has Nicholas ever drank beer;never but Connor does. and with everything else with him cheating on Emily and hurting her like he has and showing no remorse and not to mention he gives looks the way Connor would. This definitely is not the Nicholas we know. Nicholas is warm,loving,caring and the Nicholas weve been seeing now is something cold,cruel exactly like Connor. If anything gets Nicholas and Emily back together this would. She would see the difference bet Nicholas and Connor and know that they could have a future together especially where if Connor tries to hurt Emily and Nicholas rescues her.

Well that is a good prediction! I do not like the possible pairing of Sonny and Emily. They are not accurately portraying someone in medical school with her and what irritated me the other day was how much an issue it is with money and daily living struggles for Liz and Lucky. I mean they both work and have decent jobs, so what is the turmoil? Half of middle america is doing the same thing and raising kids! I do not like the storyline and then competing with Jax's money. The personality of Jax has gone way over the top. Bring back Jerry Jax!

When they decided to have Emily be raped by someone that looked just like her husband, it ended the marriage of Emily and Nikolas. Sad but true. I am really hoping for Emily and Sonny to hook-up. Now before every one jumps all over me <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> let me tell you why. Emily is on the same level as Sonny financially speaking, she has her own interests...(wouldn't just be a trophy wife so to say that gets bored of shopping and redecorating)and as we all know as soon as Emily graduates med school she will be named Chief of Staff, so they will both have status in their chosen career field. I think if done right it could be a romance...(not that there is anything wrong per say with the lusty sex couples...Ric and Reese had smoke pouring out of my TV and Nikolas and Courtney were pretty hot themselves on their little surfing vacation!)as long as they don't have Emily change into a doormat like all other Sonny's women seem to become.
