This is rather strange. It's funny because I can't remember the dream before this incident. It's in the middle of the night and suddenly I startle awake. I'm sitting up in bed and I'm staring over at my nightstand where the flashlight is. I want to reach over and turn the flashlight on but I'm panicking because I can't see in the dark so well and for some odd reason, I'm thinking there's a snake on my night stand.

It lasted for about a minute before I had the courage to reach over and turn the flashlight on for some light in the room. Needless to say, there was no snake. I can't help but feel this 'reaction' was spurred on by the dream but I can't remember a single thing about it, not even a clue or a hint.

Hi DreaminDragon,

Night symbolizes the unconscious and sometimes the and darker sides of ourselves. It can also represent ignorance.

Snakes can have multiple meanings as symbols, so I'll refer you to the artice:

Dream Symbols - Snake

Also look at the personal meaningg snakes have for you. I'd love to hear your insight if you want to share! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
