I just spent 2 days trying to connect a wireless adapter to the 2 other computers and I STILL can't figure it out, I surrender and will be calling a computer person tomorrow. I did call the 1-800 number and they were no help, but anyway I will be working on putting away my craft stuff (yeah) tomorrow so after that there will be some more articles, I promise. Then last wednesday my beautiful 10 month old cat, Oscar, passed away and I don't know why. I am pretty devastated about it, he was my sweet baby. It was so hard to tell my son but we buried him in our yard so he will be with us always. You never know how attached you are until something happens and I was really attached. There will be more crochet as I unpack, I have a ton of ideas and will be putting them to the test and then of course as free patterns.

Eva

I'm sorry for your loss as well Eva. I think deaths like that haunt you more than losing a pet under understandable reasons for the death. I'm glad your getting settled and we are patient people that will gladly wait for your wonderful things on this site to unfold. After all, valuable things are worth waiting for, aren't they?
Best Wishes,
Grace

Thank you all, I really miss all of you too !!!! I did work on putting the yarn away now I am down to just about 3 boxes. I don't have a large room like I did before but thats ok, I love the house and maybe within a year I can have a room built, like a storage shed or maybe even a sun room (I dream big, hehehehhee)

there was a nice lady who wrote a book i read once. the title was "Normal is just a setting on the dryer". very erma bombeck type book. LOL!!
poor eva! our pets are out children. when we lost our doxie, Lucky, to a car accident, we were devestated! it happened while we were packing to go on vacation the next morning. you can imagine what the vacation was like after that. she had just had a litter 6 months previous to this, and we had kept a puppy. we were so thankful that she had left us this little legacy named, "Happy". it's been 2 years now, and sometimes i still call Happy by her mom's name. and now that i'm seperated, Happy keeps me from going insaine sometimes. lol....she looks like a well done corn-dog, stick (tail) and all

Sorry to hear about your kitty. I am very much a pet person, as we have four cats and two dogs. In four years we lost all four animals (two dogs & two cats) we had brought with us when we moved back to WV from Memphis, and my heart aches for them still. Even though we have new furry kids to love on, the ones who have already crossed the Rainbow Bridge tug at my heart strings now and again, and I find myself sobbing for them all over again. Thank God you have your crocheting to keep you occupied. You will never forget your kitty, and he will always be with you since he is in your heart. May God help ease the hurt you are feeling right now.

I crochet pet blankets for animal shelters as a tribute to my many animal friends who have graced my life since childhood. My first dog used to pull me around by my diapers to keep me from harm. I am sorry for your loss Eva.

Thank you both, I still miss him so bad, the other day I was feeding them and I called him !!!! The cat that played with him the most jumped on my dresser and got his collar and brought it out, layed it on the floor and just started meowing, it was so sad. Even my husband got a little upset. I know it takes time, but it is still sad.
