dont have the money to buy.
but i hear its real popular cuz the online part is free

There's quite a few of these MMORPG Online onlys.
Like FF11, but you gotta pay to play.

hiya gerb
i lookin to get it soon. a pal of mine plays it and says it rocks. i seen a few of the trailers and stuff.
i was playing another MMORPG called ragnarok for a while there but cant find a decent free server now >.< and i need a later version of the game files ie. with baby class and everything
oh well hope to get it soon with a friend and we will play for sure

I've played the following MMO's
Ragnarok Online
Lineage 2
WoW (only a Beta)
and now Guildwars.
Guildwars is one of those games you don't need to pay the horrible monthly fee for.
Believe it or not but WoWs high player rates dropped incredibly since Guildwars was released.
I personally like Guildwars A LOT better than WoW for the following reasons
- no monthly fee
- it's completely balanced (unlike Rogues and Priests in WoW which are overpowered)
- it's not so much equipment/lvl related as WoW
- there's less of a grind than in WoW
with equipment/lvl related I mean in WoW you have uber gear so to speak, gear which is so good + your high lvl cuz u played a lot makes you a lot stronger than others.
thus u get the more you play the stronger u are, whilst in Guildwars you have reasonable caps on everything so you can be quite equal with stats and all and still make a big difference.
You use the skills you have to win.
In Guildwars you'll notice that you can't just win if you have the best armors and weapons, you need skill to win, technically speaking a lvl 5 character could beat a lvl 20 character if the lvl 20 character has no skill whatsoever.
As for the Grind, in WoW you go out to get experience to level. In Guildwars you play the game follow the story line do some extra quests and you'll level up anyways.

Hehe, I have played Guild wars a bit its fun, but mainly a PvP game whitch i hate alot <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

But you see you can perfectly play Guildwars without PvPing.
just when your character has reached it's maximum potential there's no need to go out and kill monsters, thus u can PvP for a lot better challenge.

PvP = Player vs Player.
you can fight eachother with your lvled up characters.
