I received this article in the Daily Om newsletter. The ritual is adapted from the Navajo and it really impressed me. I recently lost my husband and life is definitely going to be a new path, direction, journey and chapter without him in it. I may ask my group to do this for me:

Blessing Way

This is a most beautiful and healing ritual. If you do opt to use it in your own healing journey, I pray that you receive all the benefits its blessings hold for you!

If you like Tony Hillerman, check out his book, "The Blessing Way".

Thank you for this article Parthena, a friend of mine just had a baby last week and they tied her tubes as well...this would be something great to giver to HER rather than the baby, especially since she herself is Mic Mac and a master beader...Let the bead hunt begin!

PS, it's so wonderfulto have you back my friend.

Wow, what a great link, Parthena!

I have a friend whose 50th birthday is coming up. This might be great to do at the party....

Good link Parthena, I have now signed up for my Daily Om too & I'm looking forward to receiving a daily pearl of wisdom.

You have so many creative possibilities ahead of you, so many things you could put your energy into. What would you like to be & where would you like to go?

We do something similar for handfastings. We invite friends and family to bring charms or beads that represent their blessings and wishes for the couple to be tied on the wedding broom.

the brooms become beautifuly adorned momentos of the wedding and then areusually hung in the homeof the couple.

(*grin* I am so excited to see what kinds of charms my wedding broom gets!)

Well.....I'd like to be a well known published author and artist! At the core of those goals is educating people to CF and his art as well. I'm already doing some of that with the cards I made up with one of his poems and CF info.

Time is the biggest factor. I just got another job and I do need an income in the meantime.
