I'll vote for the ones mentioned and all the ALIEN series...FORBIDDEN PLANET ala 1959 is well worth watching and surpringly well done all things considered...then there is the MATRIX(sigh) but I digress! I liked THE GIFT that Billy Bob Thorton written movie about his actual life(!!??) that was out in the 90s! It was very well done with Cate Blanchette,Greg Kinnear, Giovonni Ribisi(excellent as usual)and Keanu Reeves as the husband beating the Katie Holmes character while married to Hillary Swank(and beating her too)...there's more but I am off to do something else right now...

Buckaroo is a hoot there is no doubt.. but then a young Tom Berenger is always ok by me which reminds me( I have no idea why) BUT the ROBOCOP MOVIES WITH pETER wELLER WERE ok AS WELL...(CAPS button-duh)

2001 a Space Oddity(yes I mean Oddity) deserves a mention BUT if you have not read the book you will have no clue what is happening and I am quite sure the original movie release was enhanced by the amount of herbal libations any given audience inhaled before the movie showed up on the screen..,.
