My mother-in-law, Sandy Taylor, had to have a mastectomy back in March due to infiltrating ductal carcinoma (HER/neu 2). Luckily it had not gotten to her lymph nodes, but the "markers" showed that it was starting to move that way, so her oncologist wanted to go ahead with chemotherapy treatments- 6 rounds, she'll do her 5th round this Friday.
She has absolutely amazed me during this time. She sends out e-mails to her friends and families about her progress, but the funny thing is, half of her e-mails are taken up with concerns and prayer requests for others. This is a totally self
less lady!
For those of you that are going through this same difficulty, I thought you might be interested in reading her "Blog" (it's basically her e-mails that my husband has posted on our family website). She is definitely an inspiration. <img src="/images/graemlins/heart.gif" alt="" />
