Hi. I'm new to the forum, and new to soapmaking.

I have a question on measuring your soap after grating. Do you pack it in or just put it in the measuring cup lightly?

That's a really good question. When I use shredded soap I do not PACK it in, although I do very gently push down just a tad. You want to be sure that you're really gentle because if you pack it too hard, it will clump and won't exactly be shreds anymore. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
