My grandaughter is 15 months and she loves to go outside, but the mosquitoes are horrible! Is there a mosquito spray that is safe for babies? Now I am waiting to do any outside work until she goes home. I am usually babysitting during the day, so by the time I get around to my outside chores I am alreay beat from chasing her around all day!

Because I have eczema and rubbing in various lotions, etc causes irritation to my hands I opt for towelettes. I bought through Avon Skin-so-soft bug guard plus. The package has 8 towelettes, says on pkg suitable for the entire family. Pleasantly scented, gentle formula does not need to be washed off when returning from the outdoors. Dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic.

You can apply every two hours. They are on sale now at Avon for only $5.99:

SKIN SO SOFT BUG GUARD PLUS IR3535 Active Insect Repellent Gentle Breeze Towelettes

SAVE 50%!

price: $12.00 $5.99

Protects against mosquitoes and deer ticks for easy spot application where needed most. Convenient size fits in knapsack, luggage or purse. Self-close reusable bag holds 8 packettes (.3 fl. oz.; 5" L x 5" W).

Hopefully this will work out for you and your granddaughter.

I second the skin so soft recommendation. I even used it on my sheep.

Connie,
I had two bottle fed lambs and when they grew up I sent them to live at a friend's house because he has more acreage. I miss them still. They were soo cute and playful.

There is a herd of sheep outside of town. I bet they are so cute and sweet when bottle fed. It is good you can still go and visit them!

Thanks so much...I will have to get some. We haven't had much of a winter so far and we will be fighting bugs before you know it.
