OP victoriana Newbie V Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 8	I got the optismooth heat treatment done today and my hair is amazing! so much better then i expected. It feels like it did when i was a kid!

OP victoriana Newbie V Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 8	Its pretty much the same as most other treatments. look at www.verticalsinhair.com even thought it doesn't talk about opti-smooth it describes a similar process (and the before and after photos on this site totally convinced me to get my hair done)Its been about a week or so now and I cannot believe I still have this hair. Every time I have a shower I'm sure my frizzy hair will come back, but today not only did i not wash my hair, I even went out in the rain and my hair is still straight and there is no frizz at all!

I waited 3 years until I was able to cut off all the damaged ends of my hair (and still have fairly long hair) so my hair was in fairly good condition when i had this treatment done (just very boofy!) work on getting your hair in better condition before you even think about doing anything like this. I know waiting sucks, but a good hairdresser should be able to help you keep your hair looking nice while you're growing out the bad bits!
