I do not want to innundate Pathetenia at a time like this, my heartfelt condolescenses go out to her for her loss.

But she is welcome to forward her husband's writing to me for publication in my newsletter storytime tapestry. My readers would love to read about his life and his mission.

Parthena:

I do deeply send my condolescenses to you and your families. It is a tough thing to lose a spouse. 32 years ago my husband lost his battle with Luekemia and I can tell you, yes time heals, but he will always be apart of your life, just like his sister was his. I hope you know I do truely empathize with you during this time in your life. I Send blessings of love and strength to help guide you.

Sandy

Thank you all so much, and hugs to those of you who have felt similar losses.

I've written a tribute to Joe, and I have a feeling that his story, "The Dreamer" is going to be very well known.....

A Tribute To A Great Dreamer

Quote:
Although I did not know Joe, I ask permission to use his name when I write this: You and Joe show what a loving relationship should be. Nothing is more important than loving and being loved. That is the greatest of all gifts we can give to each other.

Yes, and I wish that love for each and every one of you. Although we only had three short years, they represent a lifetime of love.

Winterose, thank you, and I'll be in touch.

Although I have been here so short a time, just reading your husband's writings show what a strong and loving man he was. The world will be missing a bright spot.
My condolences to you, and I hope that your memories of your husband will be like a warm blanket of comfort to wrap around yourself during your loss.
Love, Michelle

Joe used to tell everyone that he was a "professional student." He attended Northeastern State University for nine years and developed the creative skills he'd shown since childhood. Many of his best pieces, including his story "The Dreamer" started as class assignments.

His diploma arrived today. It is dated May 7, 2005, about six weeks before his death. I've placed it on the altar.

Congratulations, Baby <img src="/images/graemlins/heart.gif" alt="" />
