Last night the breeder emailed me and asked me if I wanted to take the green cheek conure baby home early. She's on one feeding a day and the breeder said if I wanted I could finish hand feeding her. So I went over there today and she showed me how to hand feed. I've hand fed baby birds before but I needed a refresher course lol. Well I just got the baby home and fed her a piece of apple. She loves fruit n veggies but not too much seed and she won't touch pellets. I'll figure something out though. I'm switching my birds from ZuPreem to Harrisons. It's expensive but it's worth it.

I really wish I could post a pic. In fact I bought a camera today. At least I thought it was a camera, turns out it was film. lol My blonde moment of the day. By the way, does anyone know how much a printer/scanner would be? Then I could show you all how lovely my Ping is, that's his/her name.

Scanners don't cost too much any more.

Another option would be to get one of the disposable digital cameras to take some pictures.

Or when you get the picture developed, they will often give you the pictures in digital format rather than give you the negatives nowadays.

I dont recommend the disposable digital camera. The quality is not that good. You would be better off buying a new digital camera. Im sure you could find one for $100.

Anyway... what is a canure?

There are several different types of conures. I have an article describing them including pictures of a Green Cheek Conure & others at:

Well there are many different kinds of conures. Mine is from the pyrrhura species and she's a Green Cheek Conure (there is also the Aratinga which is larger and louder). They are generally quieter. They're all clowns by nature and this lil baby is no exception. Some people say they're like miniature macaws; they're little birds with BIG personalities.
