EMPOWERMENT!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/beamedup.gif" alt="" />
This is a great quote, and link Leah! I'm going to dig deeper into that site, what a great resource! I saw a few Feng Shui TV shows recently that were aweful, making aluminum machine-like looking environments.. yeuch! <img src="/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> but the approach of the WSFS is beautiful!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/angel.gif" alt="" />
Only in recent years have I really been able to embrace the fact that different is more equivalent with unique and it's positive conotations than wrong and it's negative ones. And even moreso, I've realized the point is not to be the same, the point is to actually be unique since in being yourself, you truly can help but be:). The essence that is you is such a beautiful kaliedoscope of so many things, known and unknown. It's quite amazing when you think of it:).
IT IS QUITE AMAZING! "May I not be in the way of my art" was a great lesson I got from a discussion board years ago, and I have tried to live it ever since. Most of us truly are IN THE WAY of ourselves, or if you can elevate your thinking, we are in the way of OUR POTENTIALS, hum?
"the point is to actually be unique since in being yourself, you truly can help but be"
truly can't help but be is whacha meant huh? And it is so true! Being
TRUE TO ONE'S SELF is a greeeeat art, a great challenge, as some would say: "The great work." I find that instead of comparing myself to others, I compare myself to yesterday. Did I grow as much as I did yesterday? Can I callenge MYSELF to do better? It almost makes the metaphor for "God is within" a reality, because you are growing based on inner wisdom, inner reflection, not externals.
By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.

http://www.wsfs.com/chi0205.htm This all reminds me of one of my favorite authors, Dr. Deepak Chopra when in his book "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" (I think) he mentions that desires are not a bad thing, at all! He says "Desires are Gods that want to live!" my paraphrase - it may be from his book "How To Know God" but what you shared reminds me of this kind of wisdom.
For some people, if they work in a factory, they have to have "limitations" on their dreams, military types, accountants too I suppose... other people should know how to really
live their dreams though, and thank God and The Angels that there are good writings like what you shared here Leah, that help us understand the reasons that we have dreams, and individuality, and support us in
manifesting! This is why I answered your specific question / post topic "what do you think?" with a resounding: "EMPOWERMENT!"
May the sharing of quotes and sites like you did here be useful, helpful, enlightening and fun! Amen. And so it is.
