hey,

i was doing the chocobo thing on the calm lands to get the sun sigil, and the second try i got a score of 0:0.0 sec, and i was REALLY happy because this isnt the first time i play ffx and i know that the last times i did it it took me hours, but here's the thing.

when i got the price, i didnt get the sun sigil, but a just some lame ether thingy that u always get when u brake ur score:( (and u only get the 0.0 score once its (almost) impossible to get it again)
And u only get a price when u beat a score but you cant beat 0,0 so how the hell am i going to get the sigil now?

why the heck didnt i get the sigil??

maybe because i didn't go the the highbrigde yet??

the Highbridge should have nothing to do with it. As soon as you can start completing the ultimate weapons quest, you can get the stuff. First off, check to be sure you don't already have it (by some weird chance). Second, did the trainer beat you even though you got 0.0. If not, then just do it again and see what happens. Also, you didn't use Gameshark codes did you? They have a tendency to mess things up. But yeah, I feel your pain. Took me forever to do it the last time I did. Hope something works out for you.

No i don't allready have it, second she didn't beat me but u cant have a better score then 0.0 right?

I saved on a new gamefile after i've done it so i think i will just try it on the old one again.

did ytou go to collect the sigil from the right place?

you need to get the time of 0:0:0 and then you gotta go to the place up north-westish where there is a guy who used to block a passage way. Then you can go down the little path or grass to a wall, where you use the mirror to break it open and get the sigil

i got caladbolg(or something) there, but u should get the sigil from the trainer right?

I think you are meant to get the sigil from the trainer.
that's so strange.
it must be a logic error in the programing of the game. Because it's worked for me both times when I've played this game.
and some peopel say it hasn't worked for them
all i can say is...start again and see if it happens the second time :S

well, lucky for me i didn't save so i can do it again and hope it goes well this time, but its hard

this time i've been racin for hours, and the best i got was like 3 secs <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

okie, i dont know if u got the sigil already, but here is what was wrong...

u dont have to get 0.00 sec... u have to BEAT 0.00 sec...
the time always shows 0.00, but u can do the math yourself..
i just got it myself... so im really happy ^^

remember... DONT get the first balloons if they are too close to the trainer.. he will get there first.. and he will get the other balloons too... after the camera switch... there comes 2 pairs of birds, one pair for u, and one for the trainer.. so dodge the oens coming for u.. and ignore the other pair..

i got 17 balloons and only one bird and finished in 37 sec!!!!

good luck racing... it really sux... but not as much as dodging 200 thunderbolts for lulus weapon :S

mhm yeah you've got to beat the 0:00 score so actually get like -0:01
but it's not that hard if u keep trying.

the thunderbolts indeed suck.. but they're easier than the chocobo race, just require concentration

the butterfly quests.. are a pain

lol almost another hart-attack last night, i was givin it another try, after like 5 times i've got a time of 1,1 secs, adn then finally like the 10th time 0,0 and actually it was like -8,4 or something, so i was really happy, suddenly she gave me a turbo-ether, and i was speechless for like an hour<img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /><img src="/images/graemlins/computer.gif" alt="" />, i allready was getting angry and wanted to reset, but THANK GOD i dind't, she gave me the sigil after that what a relieve <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue2.gif" alt="" />
