Hi Shelly, I am new at this site, but on your question on flower pounding. I got real good instructions on flower pounding from this website- www.hgtv.com from "simply quilts"
television show. The episode number is QLT-738.It gives you complete instructions on how to do, and how to prepare your fabric. I tried it last fall, and with the new marvy fabric pens to highlight it came out beautiful.It was also the easiest instructions to follow. Good Luck, and let me know
