Every year I visit Colorado for a week, I'm wondering how to keep my fish alive while I'm doing this. I know someone who can come check on them, but he can't come feed them everyday. I know that there are tablets available for long-time feeding for like 10 gallon tanks, but all I have is a 1 gallon bowl and a half gallon bowl. Are there any smaller tablets available?

Also, I just got a new girl betta after I spotted her at the store and fell in love at first sight. I feed my male betta Hikari Betta BioGold, but the pellets seem a bit big for my girl. Are there smaller Hikari pellets available or am I just worrying way too much about my babies?

Well, I'm pretty sure your betta will be all right for a day or two if someone cannot come every day. It's actually good to skip a day a week of feedings if your betta has a history of *ahem* intestinal problems. I do not know about the pellets, but check your pet store, I'm sure there is something she will like <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
