Really? Through your martial arts? Interesting since karate normally denotes that it should be a Japanese form and thus you would learn the Japanese way to count to ten. It sounds somewhat similar, especially number 3 and I believe the characters are the same.

I think I was wrong. This was probably Japanese aphabet, sorry <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

If you know how to write it in Japanese, they characters are probably the same =). So you still know Chinese.
