I have some great synchronicity happening around me in my life. It really started when I got involved in healing and has snowballed ever since.

Have any of you got some good synchronicity stories to share?

I read your article on synchronicity last night, and this has been happening to me all my life. I never knew it had a name. I have heard of this, but never knew what it meant. I went to my friend's house who has turtles, and as we chatted, I realized we had both given up the same thing (our vice) a day apart, and had not told each other about it till yesterday. All we could do was laugh. We had not planned on giving it up, but did, and we were keeping it private, looking back it is all very clear to me. Today I told a friend about it, and he said "you have a lot of synchronicity in your life". This word, and what it means, is alive and well in my life, and always has been.

P.S. Yesterday I went to my old house and grabbed a bag of books I had evacuated to higher ground before the storm last Sept. This is a bag of books I have had since child hood and high school. Today, after I read the post about wanting more info on the almanac re: faery question, I wracked my brain as to its whereabouts; stuff is here and there from the storm. I looked in the bag of books, and under all my old cherished books was the one I was looking for. Is this synchronicity?

It certainly is more synchronicity Firefly, a lovely example. You really are on track!

Once you start acknowledging all the synchronicity in your life and giving thanks, it starts to come more frequently. It's like your guides notice you are receptive and will look out for the signposts, so they can send you some more.

I am often finding synchronicity in my life and indeed a great believer, especially in meeting people for a reason. Take for example the other day, a new client came into my office and I felt, like I sometimes do, that I knew her. The way her son had died (a very brave lady as it had only been 6 months) mirrored the way my brother had died, except we never knew the reason with our loved one. We now think it may well have been the same thing that caused it after years of contemplating this conclusion. This lady's son even had two sisters like me and my sister. I think someone is trying to give us the answer.

You are right. When people come along that mirror aspects of your life they are often sent as an opportunity for you to see something or 'get the message'. Keep a journal and make notes, as sometimes it takes a while for the penny to drop.

Hi Lauren and all,

Another great topic!

First I'll share a joke / word play I came up with and enjoy. I do a lot of synchronized 7 "chakras" and 7 musical notes research / play (http://www.Givnology.com/compose.htm) and back when I used to use candles rather regularly, well in Califunny we have quakes so they could fall over! I realized the only really safe place to put one (if you are leaving with it still lit - not suggested!) is in a sink, where even if it falls, even if something falls into the flame nothing bad can happen. Back then it made me always wash all dishes and make the sink nice and clean, then the candle in it enjoyed a nice environment too.

Well in looking for names for my "chakra music" which is really just positive visualization exercises connecting 7 chakras, 7 endocrine glands, 7 colors, 7 musical tones, etc... I came up with something I like:

CLEAN SYNCS

Synchronicities or synchronizations that are clean, meaning efficient, helpful, organimazised or what-have-you. Cute hum?

An example I love of a synchronicity recently was this: I recently "transferred" my drinking beer and such, and puffing Kali herb to my one vice left, smoking gualoises rolling tobacco (I know, terrible terrible!). I say to myself that I simply "transferred" those vices. Me and a friend were on a bus and it came to my mind (probably saw a wino or drug-head out the window) and I said to my friend: "We humans are good at transference..." and they said: "Oh yes, we need to get transfers!" I felt that that showed I was "in the flow" and verified what I was saying! he he..

Love and light being, Teo Do (Re, Mi...)

Ha, ha..clean syncs- I like it! actually I'm in the process of moving house- serious stress! the big advantage is I'm leaving a rambling old place with seven sinks & four loos to clean & downsizing to one with a more manageable number. bit of synchronicity there- turns out the new place is next door to my daughter's favourite school teacher & next door but one to one of my son's friends.

As for the bad habits we all have some...even me
