No, I don't like them at all. But the weird thing is, they l-o-o-o-ove me.
LOL my grandmother has the same problem with dogs! She's absolutely terrifed of them, can't stand them, and they will ignore everyone else and head straight for her while she stands there in a frozen stupor.
Discounting my own kids, 3 (2 from previous marriage, 1 from this marriage) I have certain ages i can deal w/. Infants - cool, meet their basic needs and cuddle them, problem solved. Once they turn 2 and the tantrums start- augh! (mine's there now, i had forgotten how much fun it is ) Elementary school I'm pretty good w/ until they hit the smart aleck phase, then all patience flies out the window. I get along great w/ girls in the early teens though, I direct an ensemble of middle school girls at church - they are really sweet. High school- totally depends on the kid. Boys in general just confuse me, which is pretty bad since I have 2 of 'em (13 yr old w/ Asperger's and the 2 yr old, daughter is 7)
Funny thing though, before I got married and had kids, I always swore I wouldn't because I wanted to be a career woman - psychologist w/ an emphasis on musical therapy. (Didn't know I was preparing for my own child)
