Four kids...geez when is it enough. When other women are popping out so many why do I need to have any?

I personally am not very fond of kids, especially babies. The scream of a baby drives me nuts! Other peoples kids don't bother me that much. Oh, and 4 kids!!! thats a bit much isnt it?

No! One just came to my door wanting me to help get her a college scolarship by buying the local paper! She would not take no for an answer1 But finally she had no choice! I kept telling her no! Now, if she had parents and not breeders, they would have started her a college fund when she was born. On top of all that she is an illegal immigrant! WTF~ I am not sending some breeder's immigrant brat to college!~

Now wait a minute. My parents are breeders (obviously I am here) and did not save for my college. I have to depend on scholarships, student aid, and student loans. There is nothing wrong needing/asking help to pay the heafty price of college. And there is nothing wrong with leaving your home country to try to give your children a better life. Be glad she wants to go to college instead of going on federal assistance for the rest of her life like many do. And being so bitter toward those who do have kids makes you just as bad as those who are bitter to us for not having kids. I disagree with so many people breeding but I am not going to make them feel inferior because they did.

There is a difference in being a breeder and being a PNB (parent not breeder) A kid would not be knocking on my door asking for a handout if it's parents were PNB's. Sorry, but having kids is more complicated than it looks!
Breeders: if you can't feed 'em, don't breed 'em! That includes: saving for a college fund from birth, no daycare,(ask Dr. Laura) and being there even when the kid wrecks your car, steals money etc...!

I love kids and I always have, even before I had any of my own! I guess I get it from my Mom. My cousins and my school friends love my Mom, because she always played around with them when they were little.

I like children, just when they are not my own. Most people assume my husband and I do not like children since we do not want them. They also assume that we know nothing about children. I have done my share of babysitting. I have kept children overnight. I have two nieces who I love and like. I wish that they lived closer so that we could see them more. Just because I do not wish to surround myself with children everyday does not mean that I run away every time one comes near me. Of course, they are always better starting around age 5 when you feel like you can actually communicate with them.

Not particularly. I can deal with them after the age of 12 if they have been brought up with manners and are exceptionally bright. Other than that, no.

I love kids, any age. Since I have become an empty nester, life has lost a certain spark. I also have moved a few miles away, my new home has no children living nearby. They live around the corner, so by golly I walked down there and met all the neighbors and their children. The holidays just are not as fun without children around; they bring a certain magic with them, and are so honest. I have been helping a friend with her four year old twins for several years now, and a young friend with her six month old daughter. They put a spring in my step and I am blessed with these opportunities to help. But everyone is different re: children and that is cool.

I love kids and def. want to have them some day, but I totally respect anyone who chooses not to. I feel like there is a lot of pressure in our society for people to have kids, but everyone has different goals in life.
